These are the first official images of the updated Maruti Ritz. A car we had scooped earlier in March.

The Ritz is sold as the Suzuki Splash in other global markets such as Japan & also in some countries in Europe. These official pictures have been released on Suzuki's Japan website.


As is evident from the images, the updated Ritz gets a slightly-altered & a lower mounted nose,  & gets a one-piece grille. The headlamps are more pointier & the fenders now rise up above the bonnet 'V'.  The rear-bumpers also get fake air-vents.

Names can sometimes be inappropriate. You know you have to be careful when you hand over your watch to the ‘Reliable’ watch company, and ‘Perfect’ drycleaners may not exactly be a vision of perfection. Look at the guillotined rear of the new Dzire, and you can tell that form definitely follows function here; the rear styling isn’t exactly desirable. Trust Maruti to be as practical as possible. So along with the thrill and excitement associated with a new car comes a bit of initial trepidation. Doesn’t the rear look a bit odd to you? Of course it does. The thing is, you soon get used to the chopped-to-be-shorter-than-four-metres look, and after a while it really isn’t a bother. And that’s partly because the rest of the car is so damned good.

Maruti launched new Swift Dzire launched features specification and all functions with price list

Maruti has launched the 2nd generation Swift Dzire at a starting price for Rs 4.79lakh (ex showroom price). It is available in both petrol & diesel engine, the new sub 4 metre Dzire is also offered as a 4 speed automatic petrol variant.









The base petrol (LXi) variant is of Rs 4.79 lakh, rised up to Rs 6.19 lakh for the top ZXi model. The automatic system is only available in the VXi model, retails at Rs 6.54 lakh. Same is for the diesel version, the base model is of Rs 5.80 lakh & the top end for Rs 7.09 lakh.







The new Dzire compact saloon is some how different from the old car . Of 3995mm, it is 165mm shorter than the existing one. This is resulted in an very short boot, & a more notchback which look as opposed to a proper saloon. The boot space is of 316 litres & is a whole size down on the old saloon, but it is large enough to hold weekend luggage.






The engines are taken from the new Swift & it means that the Dzire will be powered by 86bhp, 1.2-litre petrol & 74bhp, 1.3 litre diesel motors. The K Series petrol engine is benefited from "Variable Valve Timing" & this has resulted in a 2bhp power bumps as compared to the old car. The 1.3 litre DDiS motor remains same.

On Wednesday, India's number one car manufacture company Maruthi Suzuki  released new car from Alto series called Maruthi Alto K10. This release was done in fashionable way. That is they have released Maruthi Suzuki  Alto k10  is 3 cities at a time through video conference via Satelite.
