New upgraded Dio Scooter launched bye Honda all features and specifications
New Dio is powered by the identical 110cc engine that powers the Honda Activa and Aviator scooters. It develops 8bhp at 7,500rpm (1bhp more than the outgoing model) and 0.88kgm of torque at 5,500rpm. The motor is equipped with a latest cutting edge techno which help Dio to achieve a mileage of 55kpl, up by 15% than earlier Dio.
In addition, Dio also have Honda’s Combi brake feature which ensures the improved braking efficiency & riding stability. It is also the first Indian scooter that sport tubeless tyres. Other updation is increased leg space & wider seat for comfortable ride experience. Honda has tweaked Dio’s overall styling also; it get new frontal design which, according to Honda, “expresses dynamic & youthful moto scooter look”, a new 3D emblem & a elegant tail lamp.

Honda has started acquiring the critical components from Japan & China in order to normalize the production at Greater Noida plant. The Japanese manufacturer is aiming to manufacture 370 cars in a day in a 2 shift operation which will increase to 440 cars much soon.
As many as 1500 units of the new updated Honda City have been rolled out of Greater Noida facility. Production of the recently launched Brio hatchback has also resumed while Jazz will start rolling out by end of this February.

Actually, the appearance of Spies in the opening MotoGP race in 2011 was not too disappointing. Former Tech 3 Yamaha Monster star is able to finish in sixth. However, Spies fallen far behind the Honda duo, Casey Stoner and Dani Pedrosa.
"I do not know what Honda are doing, but obviously the quality of the motor is very different and Stoner has been proved in Losail Circuit," said Spies respond Repsol Honda motor skills.
But Spies very confident, with the development of the YZR-M1 motor which began to improve, former World Superbike champion, the optimistic Yamaha Racing can compete with the RC212V at Jerez circuit, next weekend.

Honda to launch electric car in US by 2015
Honda plans to develop an electric car to debut in the U.S. market by around 2015 as tighter environmental regulations push demand for zero-emission vehicles, the Nikkei newspaper said on Saturday.
Honda, Japan's No. 2 automaker, has started developing a prototype of the car to be unveiled at the Tokyo Motor Show in October, the business daily reported, without citing sources.
The vehicle is expected to be around the size of a minicar, it added.
Other automakers such as Toyota and Volkswagen have also announced plans to launch electric cars in the next few years.
But they say it could take decades for the vehicles to spread due to their high cost, limited driving range and long charging times with the current battery technology.
Nissan, Japan's third biggest automaker, unveiled its electric car "Leaf" earlier this month with plans to begin selling it in the United States, Japan and Europe towards the end of 2010.
