An Updated Ferrari California is coming all features functions and specifications
Ferrari will showcase an updated version of its California droptop at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show.
The revised California is now lighter & more powerful. The engine a 4.3 litre V8 now churns out 483bhp, up by 30bhp thanks to new exhaust manifolds & engine mapping.
Ferrari has built a lighter, more powerful version of the California, & will show off the revised grand tourer at next month’s Geneva motor show. The torque curve has also been modified & is higher across the engine’s rev range, with maximum torque of 51.43kgm at 5000rpm.
The updated car is lighter too as a result of new aluminium fabrication techniques & construction technologies being used in the manufacturing process of the chassis. According to Ferrari, the Califronia’s structural rigidity, is not affected by the weight reduction.
The car’s 0-100kph time is now 3.8sec, about one tenth of a second faster than the previous version.
Ferrari has also produced an optional ‘Handling Speciale’ package of modifications for the California. It will feature significant upgrades to steering, dampers & springs in the mould of the HGTE package offered on the 599.
The HS pack will move the easy driving California — which is expanding sales to customers mostly new to Ferrari — into more focused territory closer to Ferrari’s traditional appeal, & has been produced in

Ferrari FF 2012 new and latest
Ferrari FF 2012
The last time Ferrari blew absolutely everyone away with wall-to-wall surprises and equally sizzling performance all wrapped into one car was in 2002 with its Enzo. We're not saying that all things between then and today have been shabby, mind you. And we're also not saying that the 2012 Ferrari FF does it in marquee-and-fireworks Enzo-style, but the unexpected innovations aboard this gorgeous trailblazing all-weather shooting brake will keep conversation heated for an uncommonly long time.

This is Ferrari thinking way outside its box of usual GT forms and, for no other reason than this, we must applaud them.

Ferrari 485 sport car
Ferrari 485
It seems there’s something out there even more eye catching than a red Ferrari: a Ferrari 458 Italia wrapped in an incredible Camouflage vinyl. If you ever want to make your car unique there are probably two solutions: either try to modify it or just apply a unique vinyl on it that will make it stand out of the pack.
The second option is cheaper and if you find a great vinyl the visual effect will be impressive. This camouflage vinyl for the 458 Italia was created by a German company called Cam Shaft which is not specialized in camshafts as their name suggests, but they are experts in vinyl wraps and could offer probably anything to their customers.
They could change the car’s look almost completely by wrapping it in vinyl and they could even modify it’s design by applying bits of vinyl on headlights that would make the car even more unique.

Ferarri 430 Spider
Ferarri 430 Spider
The F430 is just about perfect on a road like this. The village recedes in the rearview mirror, you select Race mode, flick the left-hand paddle down twice, and lay rubber. The car is soulful and pure and direct, something you wear as an extension of your body and mind and eyes. It isn't that small, yet it shrinks around you and seems the right size for these narrow passes, whereas something like a Ford GT or a Lamborghini Murcilago-let alone a Ferrari Enzo or a Mercedes SLR McLaren-would feel big and clumsy. There is no lack of pace, however; Ferrari claims the F430 will sprint from 0 to 62 mph in 4.0 seconds and go on to a top speed "in excess of 196 mph," which is more than most of us will ever need.

After two hours of maximum attack on these hill roads, you select a friendlier pace for the journey back to Maranello and Ferrari's Fiorano test track, where you get the chance to wring the F430 out without worrying about cars coming the other way or the proximity of the scenery. As the pace drops, you notice that there's plenty of head, leg, and elbow room and decide that the carbon-fiber trim on the center console looks pretty good, even if the optional alloy accents you saw earlier look classier. The instrument binnacle, with a tach in either yellow or red, and the dashboard are new, although you spot carryover stalks and power window lifts.
The steering wheel is not only gorgeous to the touch, but it also looks fabulous. There's a start button on its lower left quadrant and a five-position, anodized-metal switch (the manettino) on the lower right to select the gearshift regime and traction control. Very F1. Ferrari got rid of the lift-up toggle for reverse and replaced it with a simple button, which lives on a slimmer center tunnel. The cabin ambience is businesslike, simple, plain, spare-what you need in a driver's car, without the plethora of buttons that companies such as Porsche have been introducing lately.

At Fiorano, you park in the small paddock, step out, and admire the bright yellow Ferrari on its optional Challenge Stradale wheels. Yes, admire rather than ogle: like the Modena, the F430 is striking yet hardly beautiful. Think Cate Blanchett rather than Charlize Theron.
Although more than 70 percent of the car's components are new, it doesn't look that different from the 360. Ferrari cites the Sharknose 156 F1 car from 1961 as inspiration for the huge nostrils at the front and the 250LM and 196/246SP sports cars from the early 1960s for the intakes over the rear fenders, but the styling is truly dictated by aerodynamic function rather than form. The combination of a new nose, revised engine intakes, a larger rear venturi, and a more pronounced tail spoiler has increased downforce compared with the 360. There is a total of 617 pounds at 186 mph, an improvement of 187 pounds over the 360; at 124 mph, the change is 99 pounds. The drag coefficient of 0.33 is the same.

The basics of the car are unchanged, too. The F430 uses an aluminum spaceframe chassis that is 10 percent heavier than the 360's, but it also has 20 percent better torsional stiffness and is 8 percent better in bending. Ferrari says that improved crash performance is the reason for the extra weight. Overall, the car is 132 pounds heavier than the 360, but the power-to-weight ratio has improved from 7.1 pounds per horsepower to 6.2, thanks to the new, larger engine. Some castings on this 4.3-liter, DOHC, 32-valve V-8 are shared with the Maserati Coupe's, such as the block, but most of it is bespoke, including a single-plane crank. The engine has all the goodies you'd expect, including variable valve timing on intake and exhaust, a dry-sump oil system to lower the crank center line, and a variable intake manifold. (See Techtonics sidebar.) The twin-plate clutch is smaller to minimize inertia (for faster shifting) and to help reduce powertrain height. The F1-style transmission is expected to account for more than 80 percent of sales, but traditionalists can opt for a six-speed manual.

Ferrari Enzo 2012 new and latest
Ferrari Enzo 2011
Considered by many enthusiasts as the ultimate modern Ferrari, the limited-edition Enzo’s replacement will be a tough act to follow up for the Italian automaker. The second-generation Enzo, also named after the marque’s illustrious founder, promises to take performance – and, surprisingly, efficiency – to a new level.

Like the original Enzo, the car’s successor will be a range-topping supercar aimed at immortalizing the legendary founder of the brand. Available only to select current Ferrari owners, the next-generation Enzo will serve as the brand’s performance and technology showcase.

Ferrari Enzo
Ferrari Enzo
The car is referred to as the "Enzo Ferrari", "Ferrari Enzo", or just the "Enzo". The Enzo Ferrari is named after the founder of the business, Enzo Ferrari, race driver and entrepreneur who first created the Scuderia Ferrari racing team and then the Ferrari car manufacture.
Being one of the most powerful and fastest naturally aspirated (NA) cars, the Enzo sports many features found in Formula One cars. Interestingly, the McLaren F1 still remains the fastest naturally aspirated car despite being produced a decade before the Enzo. The Enzo makes use of many F1 technologies, such as sequential shift transmission and a body composed of light yet strong carbon fibre. Equipped with traction control and dynamic rear wing, the car also has features to improve the cars performance which are not allowed in Formula One. The Enzo was produced between two thousand and two and two thousand and four, with a total of four hundred units produced within the two years. Many Enzos trade for close to one million British pounds now.

The initial units produced were sold before the actual production even began. Ferrari sent letters to its existing customers who had purchased the F40 or F50, and three hundred and forty nine cars were sold in this effective manner. Additional cars were then produced due to the demand, bringing the total number of units to three hundred and ninety nine. The four hundredth Enzo was produced and then auctioned at the world renown Sotheby's auction house, selling for nine hundred and fifty thousand Euros, a sun which was presented to the Pope to aid the Tsunami survivors of two thousand and four. The money was presented by the legendary Ferrari driver Michael Schumacher.

Ferrari gets into the Christmas spirit

It's never too late for some Christmas cheer from the Ferrari Formula One team, and it's certainly not too early to hear about what it expects to do in the 2012 season. After a brief intro, the 15-minute(!) video turns to Ferrari CEO and Italian prime ministerial candidate Luca di Montezemolo's musings on 2011, starting with "I've been extremely unhappy with what happened" this year, admitting he still has nightmares about the last race of 2010.

How Montezemolo revolutionized Ferrari after Enzo's death

In addition to increasing the company's revenue from a modest €230 million in 1993 (around $300M USD) to €2 billion ($2.59B) last year, Montezemolo ensured 17 to 20 percent of the company's earnings were rolled into research and development each year. The CEO was also instrumental in guiding the company to becoming "The Best Workplace in Europe" as named by London's Financial Times. Each Ferrari worker has access to free school books for their children, free family medical checkups and a low home mortgage rate.
Head over to Motor Trend for a fascinating look at how Montezemolo worked to craft Ferrari into the global performance and marketing powerhouse it is today... and who knows, you just might be learning more about Italy's next prime minister.

FERRARI RELEASES NEW IMAGES OF FF SHOOTING BRAKE
FERRARI RELEASES NEW IMAGES OF FF SHOOTING BRAKE

Confirming earlier rumors, Ferrari took the wraps off of its latest design, a totally new grand touring-oriented 612 Scaglietti-replacing shooting brake called the Ferrari FF.
Set to formally debut in early March at the Geneva Motor Show, this latest Ferrari truly stretches the brand’s design language to a new limit. In many ways, it looks like one of the mega-buck one-off designs commissioned by extravagantly wealthy sheiks, but this new model is set to be a volume offering – at least by Ferrari standards.
