Toyota Innova Price specifications features

Chevrolet Beat Diesel
The Chevrolet Beat diesel has the smallest common-rail diesel engine available on any passenger car in India till date. Essentially this engine is the smaller version of highly popular Fiat Multijet three-cylinder 1.3 litre motor. This 937cc engine is jointly developed by GM Tech India and GM Powertrain Europe.

The DOHC 12 valve engine produces 57.8 bhp of peak power and 15.2 kgm of peak torque. These figures make it the least powerful common-rail diesel engine. However the bottom end torque of Beat diesel is excellent and this combined with right selection of gear ratios make it a fun car to drive.
The engine is highly fuel-efficient and as per ARAI figures the fuel consumption is 24 kmpl which is excellent considering the high petrol prices.
The car comes with essential features like power steering which is very light and makes it easy to manoeuvre the car in the city, automatic climate control for comfortable cabin environment, all 4 power windows, hill descent control and instant torque for leaving everyone behind the red light.
There is very less noise inside the cabin due to the low NVH levels. You hardly feel that you are driving a diesel car. GM has also made improvements to the gearbox for easy gear shifting and for easy city commute. The ride and handling of beat is good due to its low engine weight.
Beat Diesel feels composed and planted on the highways as well. Although engine get stressed if you rev it hard beyond 3500 rpm and cross the 100 kmph mark. The Cheverolet Beat Diesel is most comfortable at speeds under 100 kmph.
Chevrolet Beat diesel is produced at GM’s engine facility at Chakan, which also assembles the Beat car. Cheverolet Beat Diesel prices are as follows
